Invitation GERMAN OPEN 2008

Hello Mountainboarders,

We would like to invite you to our GERMAN OPEN 2008 national mountainboarding championship on Saturday, the 16th of August.

The location of the contest is D-35408 Willingen (Upland).

The boarder camp this year is located behind the Ice-skating hall close to the indoor swimming pool “Lagunenbad” in D-34508 Willingen and offers parking space for RV’s. The camping fee per person is 5,00 EUR.

Starting Fee plus starting number for the contest is 12,00 EUR.

Sign up online at http://www.ATBAGermany.de or at the campground in the ATB-Office until Saturday 10:00am.

Arrival and free riding / training Friday, the 15th of August 2008.

Contests Race, Boarder Cross, and Freestyle Saturday, the 16th of August 2008; starting at 11:00am.

Subsequently awards ceremony followed by a trip to the indoor swimming pool “Lagunenbad”. Information and entrance fees: http://www.lagunenbad.info

Afterwards, who is willing, of age (18 years old), and owns an official picture I.D. joins partying in the Disco “Brauhaus” … after all we will have to celebrate the German champion and winner of the German Open 2008!!

Sunday there will be a little more free riding and departure.

tomorrow i start to drive to willingen, to see the german open(maybe to race in the boarder cross or downhill )
i think i arrive friday morning. if i have understand right there is a camp ground where i can stay (i need only to have a shower)

i hope to find the right willingen, there are more than one.

on sunday i want to go to look the park in winterberg.

are this the right willingen and winterberg?

your maps looks quite alright and like the two guys said its important not to drive to "willingen" but "willingen (upland)" like other riders did before (:

after the competition all riders are going to chill out at the swimcenter so there you'll have a warm shower!
